3DR+DNF Recap, Podcast #2: Yatta Gets Pranked
The highlight of the July Game Informer article on 3D Realms is as follows:
- 3DR is still fully focussed on completing DNF, with George Broussard in charge. Scott Miller manages the external projects for the company.
- Scott Miller admits DNF has slipped past its expected release date numerous times, "but in the last year internally [they've] done a lot of new things, brought in a lot of new experienced people, and refocused on the project." Scott says "there's a light at the end of the tunnel finally."
- No release dates can be given, but the game "will make people happy for sure." The thumbnails below are the largest size 3DR allowed Game Informer to print them--however, we've acquired scans that allow you to see the images in detail upon clicking the images below:
Thanks to the sexy Hudson and ultra tree 85! for providing the ever-sexier scans.
Alright, so check out the new video podcast I made. Sorry it turned out so dark--I don't own a professional camera. And yes, that is my messy-ass room in the background, with the iconic Terminator 2 poster above my bed. How did I find out it was a prank? Let's just say the sender was a "George Brossuard" from georgeb3dr@hotmail.com--not that it was weird for George to be calling at 11 PM with a rather younger-sounding voice.
