| Description | ####################################### Map Instructions: ####################################### 1. Place the "darktown" folder into the following location in your Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project directory- /duke/base/maps/ So, when the map has been correctly placed into the game directory it should look like- Duke Nukem - Manhattan Project/duke/base/maps/darktown/ 2. Start Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, and then hit the "~" key to bring down the in game command prompt. 3. To start a user map, you need to type the word "map", and then the name of the user map you want to play. So, type "map darktown" (without the quotation marks) into the command prompt, hit enter, and the map should load. 4. Enjoy the map! ####################################### Other Information: ####################################### -The game does not allow permanent saves in user levels, so if you quit the game while playing the map you will lose your progress. The game can be quicksaved though, and there are also checkpoints in the map as well, however they will be lost once the map is exited. -The game does not have the correct end of level stats counts for the total possible kills or the secrets in the map, and so here are the correct values: Total Possible Kills: 187 Total Possible Secrets: 11 Total Possible Nukes: 10 -After the end of the map, the game will load the first level of the retail game. -If you need help, visit the Duke Nukem Editing Project forums at: http://editingproject.proboards7.com/ -The main DNEP site is located at: http://www.geocities.com/dukempmaps/DNEPcurrent.html ######################################## Map Credits ######################################## Level Design: ultra tree 85!
