If you celebrate some other holiday during this time, we hope you have a great one... Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc. Here's an old image of Duke to the left, although now we bring it to you in full color thanks to Kev_Hectic.

Game / Senior Designer
NOTE: This is not a level designer position. Prior experience with level design is desired, but you will be doing high level game design for missions, while also working with level designers to implement the designs.
If you don't have a burning passion for FPS games, then you probably shouldn't apply. You need to be a student of the genre and have played all the major titles and a lot of the minor ones.
Running Build Games On XP
As per the suggestion of our own avatar_58, we've received permission to host Matt Bovett's guide to running Build-based games- such as Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, and Shadow Warrior- on the modern W32 platform. This guide details the process and includes download links to various files needed to streamline the process and a hotlink to a support forum dedicated to this subject. To find this guide in the future, simply click the Build On XP link on the left-hand side of the page under the Duke 3D header.
Duke4.net Launched!
Here we are, a year and half after we started working on the site, and it's finally here! We had several people join the crew and take off during the development period, but Duke4.net was destined to see the light of day sooner or later. First off I'd like to thank our director RedSplat for designing the fansite--the layout truly is spectacular. A big thank you goes to Adan0s who helped me with coding the website and solving some major technical issues. Many thanks to Moritz and our other Deutsch speakers who made it possible for us to have a German news section. Major kudos go out to the rest of the staff and fans who supported us from day one, when we launched our splash page back in 2004.
Anyway, we hope everyone here is having a kickass holiday. We've been pretty busy ourselves, preparing exclusive content for the site and fixing minor bugs. It feels great to be able to say that we're finished just in time for the new year. It has almost been a decade since Duke rocked the world, and we can look forward to a year with some very sweet surprises. While we all wait for the man to return, we have managed to put out some excellent fan work including Duke Nukem articles, musical remixes, art/wallpapers, and a whole lot more. And if that's not enough, then you'll be pleased to know that we're also a great Duke Nukem 3D source for downloading new maps and getting the latest scoop on the new High Resolution Pack in development.
So what are you waiting for? Visit our IRC channel, register at our forums, browse through our downloads, or check out all the other available pages on our fansite. We're a non-profit gaming organization dedicated to bringing you cans of asswhoopin' new media on Duke Nukem on a regular basis--it's only going to get better from this point on!
Current Features
This week, we have released seven articles written throughout the construction period of the website. The topics vary from Duke Nukem to gaming in general. You'll find heartwarming stories of Duke3D from die-hard fans, in addition to a new piece about DNF done by our very own Drazula. We hope you'll enjoy our journalists' diligent efforts in bringing the community to life with their outstading literary work.
Other new content available at the moment includes exclusive new fan art by Micki. We saved some of his best work just to show it off here, so head over to the fan art section to check out some excellent new drawings and pieces done by other talented artists as well.
