Says Angela A: My boyfriend has said how his view of Duke is nostalgically rooted in him first and foremost being an awesome alien ass-kicker, the man with genuinely clever, edgy comebacks, and lastly enjoys the babes. So after all the talk of DNF being misogynistic and hateful toward women I thought, "Screw that. The real Duke wouldn't hate women. Duke LOVES women! If every guy wants to be him and every girl wants to be with him, it'd be because he's not only supposed to be a badass hero-of-the-world but also because he's a man who knows how to treat his ladies right!" So I wanted to draw that view of Duke. Big, strong, a lover not a hater, and (just like Al Pacino) has a healthy appreciation for the scent of a woman.
