WGRealms 2 Update On the Way

An awesome new version of WGRealms 2 is on its way!

While the update's not here yet, those who haven't checked out the page on Mod DB in a while will find a news article on the update along with several new screenshots.

The massive update has been in development for several months.  In addition to new episodes, it introduces a variety of new features, including official Polymer support, advanced room-over-room constructions, 3D models, realistic boulder traps, reverse gravity platforms, movable statues, new weapons and enemies, and a few more surprises that are hush-hush for now.

Current mappers include Mike Norvak, Micky C, and DanM, the mapper behind the excellent Duke Nukem Eternity project.

The WGR2 project is lead by DeeperThought, known throughout the Duke Nukem community for creating many popular mods and add-ons such as Duke Plus, Duke Nukem: Attrition, and Duke Nukem Arena.
 
The new version is expected to be released in 2012, with a possible interim bug-fix patch release of the current version sometime before the end of this year.
