"Let's see if we can break the record"

Category: DNF
by Micki!, on Tue Dec 18 2007, 01:43PM

What record you ask? A record for longest development time? A record for the best FPS ever?! None of these really, but George Broussard did use these words today on 3D Realms' Official Duke Nukem Forever forums... So what did he say? Here's the thread, and here's the post:

Most users ever online was 806, 12-15-2007 at 12:23 PM. --- Wow, what happened above, 3 days ago, to generate that many people in the forums? What'd I miss? What do we need to do to break the record or get 1000 people online?

What does the Boss of the DNF project mean? Is it another little evil prank like they did in the past, or is it an indication for an unveiling for this or early next year? George likes to tease, and isn't always telling people specifically what he is trying to tell us, but fans all around the forum sure are a bit stirred up, and wondering what exactly this means. Let's hope it means something happens this year. Duke Couldn't say it better himself: "What are you waiting for, Christmas?"

Check out the thread done by George himself here to follow peoples comments and reactions to this post at the 3D Realms forums. We here are at Duke4.net want to support George in his quest for those magical 1000 persons, so we suggest our readers spread the news as far and as wide as humanly possible.
